WHAT NORTHWEST HOME TEAM REALTY IS DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE AND HEALTHY

…and what you can do to help.

As you are aware, Governor Jay Inslee issued a statewide “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” emergency order to further limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The order will initially last for two weeks and requires the closure of all “non-essential critical infrastructure workers.”  Business closures must happen 48 hours after Gov. Inslee signs the order. Many businesses can, and should, continue using telework.

Northwest Home Team Realty owners, staff and brokers met to respond to this order. Here is what the order means for you and your real estate needs.

Real estate businesses are not included in the “Essential Critical Infrastructure” designation, but can remain in operation using electronic and remote functions. Northwest Home Team Realty is one hundred percent set up for each of our agents, brokers and staff to work remotely. We can still perform a majority of our services to our customers.

Because the Financial Services Sector is considered essential, real estate transactions that are under contract may proceed to closing (this includes lenders, homeowner’s insurance, title, and escrow will continue to operate). If you have a home that is pending, Northwest Home Team Realty is working diligently with our vendors (behind the scenes) to get you into your new home.

Here are the services we can provide:

• Provide services to our clients remotely.
• Online Comparative Market Analysis consultations.
• Use technology services to write offers, including online forms, electronic signatures.
• Show homes via virtual tours videos, Facebook live and facetime.
• Set up online home search.
• And many more remote services.
• All new construction, home building, permitting.

Here is the services was are “pausing” for now:

• In person home tours
• Public Open Houses
• In person buyer and seller consultations

If your home is currently listed with Northwest Home Team Realty, your listing agent will be in touch with you on the game plan over the next two weeks. This will be an excellent time to market your home and get as much market saturation as possible. Our brokers will be taking professional and raw virtual tours over the next two days. We will begin scheduling showing appointments for April 7 or when this order is lifted.
