Abby Mondau brings so much to Northwest Home Team Realty, not the least of these is her infectious energy, zest for life, and bright contagious smile! Having grown up in the Olympia area and graduated from Capital High School and Evergreen State College with a degree in early childhood education, she is no stranger to the wide variety of neighborhoods in the area. In fact, you could say that purchasing a home with her husband and three boys in the historic South Capitol Neighborhood launched her real estate career. After seven years of owning “Abby’s Cookies and Cupcakes,” also in the same neighborhood, she realized that she had fallen in love with the historic homes and architecture and found herself wanting to solve the mystery of what was behind those beautiful front doors and decided to launch career
in the world of real estate.
Being the consummate businesswoman translated easily to the real estate world and she found immediate success! Abby brings the same high level of customer service and love of people to her new career. “This is the best job in the world,” says Mondau, “It’s like putting a giant puzzle together. Finding your client the right home is only the beginning. Then you must work financing, inspections, title issues, remodeling possibilities, and zoning, and city plans, and bring it all together at the right time, and it’s exhilarating!”
When asked about Abby, Jessica Poulos, the owner and designated broker of Northwest Home Team Realty says, “After meeting Abby, you’ll quickly see that she is honest, genuine and hardworking. Her energy and excitement for life transfers to how she runs her business. Each of her clients will benefit from having Abby as their broker.”
It seems like this busy lady’s energy never fades because outside of work you will find her taking a week-end getaway to her favorite Northwest City, Portland, entertaining her friends and of course doing all the cooking and baking. And if that isn’t enough, she is in constant training for the next marathon she is planning to run. When she does finally relax you’ll find her boating out on Puget Sound.
